Just a quick update on what\u2019s going on with life right now. My buddy Josh Long recently bought me tons of books for my reading during my free time whilst in army. (Thanks Josh) And I\u2019ve started off with the book called \u201cContinuous Delivery\u201d by Jez Humble and David Farley.<\/p>\n
Although I\u2019ve done CI\/CD before, I\u2019m still learning quite a bit from it. It shares the deeper understanding and rationale behind why and how of CD. I\u2019m only at page 13 now and I\u2019ve already spotted some problems with companies that claimed to do CI\/CD. They seem to do it but they still ain\u2019t doing it right and this book explains why companies can\u2019t achieve the benefits despite having a \u201cCD pipeline\u201d.<\/p>\n
My impression so far is that this is a very interesting book with tons of in-depth knowledge and understanding. You should give it a read, even if you already think you know what CI\/CD is.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
